Sharing a draft with your supervisor used to mean handing over full edit access, now you can invite them as a commenter or viewer so they can give feedback without touching your text.

Added

  • Ability to share documents with Commenter or Viewer access, choosing Editor / Commenter / Viewer when inviting collaborators

  • Commenters and viewers can request edit access in one click, which emails the document owner

  • Ability to expand charts and download them as an image

  • Research Gap Analysis workflow (Beta). Choose a topic and sources and Jenni maps which claims are well supported, contested, or under-explored, with cited suggestions for new research directions

  • Workflows (Beta) now open in a full-page layout

Changed

  • You can now save sources from editor or chat without the need to define a collection

  • Diagrams and charts now follow your theme (including Paper and High contrast) with one consistent colour palette, and always export on a light background

  • AI Chat quality improvements and model updates

  • Reviews now keep running in the background when you switch tabs or documents

  • Add to collection now uses a single field to search for or create a collection

  • Empty collections are hidden from the AI Chat context picker

  • On mobile, chat threads, the @ mention picker, AI Edit and Add to collection now open as bottom drawers

  • On smaller screens such as Chromebooks, the editor keeps a readable minimum width when side panels are open

  • AI Chat thinking steps are now shown in your app language

  • Literature Review now uses tables and charts where they help, and writes in the language of your topic

  • Expired password reset links now show a clear message

  • Email links such as verification now work when opened outside the sign-up flow

Removed

  • AI Chat no longer nudges you to start a new thread after 10 messages

  • Documents can no longer be published to an open URL

Fixed

  • Chat limit banner appearing before your last free reply had finished

  • Closing AI Chat in the PDF viewer no longer reopens it as a bottom drawer

  • Library entry details not saving and reverting to the wrong type

  • .bib file picker not opening when uploading to the library

  • LaTeX export errors when compiling in Overleaf

  • Dragging an image now moves it instead of duplicating it

  • / insert menu not staying anchored when scrolling

  • Section prompts drawer closing after accepting AI changes

  • Focus outline restored on the document prompt field
